For cinnamon rolls in the oven. Late start at breakfast today, but the chocolate milk is made, the sausages are on and the rolls are a-bakin’!

Patches… Not the song (oh, wait, now I am thinking about the song!) not O’Houlahan (just watched Dodgeball the other night!) but about actual PATCHES. I have been working on making some patches for a motorcycle run my dad is going to have. If I can just get the thread to cooperate with me!

PATCHES… And getting some house cleaning done. Got almost all of the laundry done yesterday. Have a bit to finish up in my sewing room, as far as cleaning goes, and tons to tackle with the rest of the house!

No where soon… I don’t think? Doctors appointments are about as exciting as my day trips are taking me. Although we are still looking to go to Disneyland in October! Gotta love the annual trip for the Halloween stuff! Plus it feels like FOR-EV-ER since we’ve been there!!!

Sam mumbling around the house. Daddy needs to start taking away the paci in the mornings. Can that have an effect on how much she talks or how she enunciates? I don’t know, but I really don’t think she needs it all the time!

Smelling cinnamon! Cleaning house. Patches. I keep looking at the bins of fabric and craft projects that I have put off for… Years… Every year I say to myself “SELF! Let’s get some of these projects done! They would be great gifts!!!” Do I not finish them because I am selfish and don’t want to give them away or simply because I am lazy? Well, if I do get off my rump to get them done look forward to some fun posts on my Stuff N Junk blog! I’m sure those projects are planning to give me a little grief for leaving them in the dark all these years!

All joking aside… I love my sewing! My new(er) machine is so quiet! I love to hear it whirrrrr. But my old(er) machine… Well, there is something so comforting about how powerful it is. It sounds like a muted machine gun but I can sew pretty much anything with that beast! It was a wedding gift to my mom from my dad oh-so-many moons ago. I waited for YEARS to have it passed on to me. I almost gave it away last year to my Aunt. Not that I would have been so sad about that, she would have used it every bit as lovingly as I do. But I must admit I was glad to have it back in my sewing room, even though I’m going to need a new table for it!
