EASTER!

Outside my window…
Quiet and dark… Everyone must be exhausted from a day full of family and sweets! Today was a beautiful day.
I am thankful…
For family. For being able to be with loved ones on holidays.
I am thinking about…
Easter when I was little… Napa Easter egg hunts, dinners with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Learning all the time…
Yes, I am! I’m not sure how much I learned today, but maybe when I’m less tired I will remember… Tee-hee…
From the kitchen…
Well, from my kitchen today came fruit salad and bagels for breakfast and jello eggs and apple crisp to bring to dad’s for Easter dinner… Easter dinner? Dad put on a great spread, ham, pot roast, spinach and broccoli, au gratin potatoes, sourdough bread… Mmmmm…. Oh, and fresh fruit with chocolate fondue, carrot cake and apple crisp! How will I beat that this week? Maybe lasagna?
I am creating…
So many projects! This week it’s all about shower gifts! Two bridal showers on Saturday (combined) and a baby shower on Sunday! Almost done with the baby shower stuff, going to spend all week pushing myself with getting the bridal shower gifts done! Will post pictures next week!
I am working on…
Keeping to a schedule and staying on task. Really need to work on walking. You may think “Walking? How hard can that be?” Oh my! Sometimes we really just need to put it on the weekly schedule and GET IT DONE!
I am going…
To Tracy and Sacramento… For the showers… And I’m going to focus on keeping up the momentum of my schedule, the walking and the sewing!

Patterns… Did I mention I’m sewing? Tee-hee… Maybe I can focus on reading next week? Mother’s Day is coming, maybe Gregg will get me a B&N gift card so I can buy a new book for my NOOK! Hint-hint!!!
I am praying…
For my cousin and his family, for their loss just this weekend. For family friends that are dealing with a sudden, unexpected loss. For my family and friends, that they are safe and prosperous!
I am hearing…
The t.v. Gregg is watching The Apprentice, that show just bugs me. Also the sound of my little, “talking” to her toys and playing with her new “rattle” that her Mongi bought her.
Around the house…
Craziness! We just can’t seem to stay ahead of the little! Dishes piling up, toys everywhere! But I have been able to stay on top of the laundry! Sometimes it’s just the little things…
One of my favorite things…
My cuddly little… Took her in the pool today, she ran around dad’s house, spent ten minutes watching her take her eggs out of her Easter basket and putting them back in. At the end of the night she reaches up for me to hold her and snuggles in. That’s the best moment of the day!
A few plans for the rest of the week…
SEWING! Getting my office set up to start bringing Little to work with me. Walking, making time and walking! Remembering to have my Wordless Wednesday post ready!
Random thought…
Hmmm, random thoughts… Who watches reality t.v.? Why? What does it do for you? I know, not very random, but these people are just so whiny and the t.v. is up too loud!
