Outside my window…
Dark. Yup, doing my daybook at night once again! Busy days call for that. Had a little rain today, odd weather, but a nice day at home just the same.
I am thankful…
For Saturday’s with my Little girl and Sunday’s getting lots of work done. She is getting so big so fast and she is so much fun!
I am thinking about…
Well, I started out thinking about what I still have left to do, but after reading a beautiful post by my cousin about a lost loved one, I am thinking about a little boy who can no longer hug his mommy. It makes me think about my friends and family that have lost their parents, young and old. It makes me think that every day is worth living to the fullest, with lots of hugs and kisses!
Learning all the time…
Today I learned that I can do more than what I give myself credit for, but to not let it get to my head. The minute I start admitting I know what I’m doing is when I start sewing things inside out! Tee-hee.
From the kitchen…
Tonight, hubby made dinner! Tacos and asparagus! Yeah, not the combination I would have necessarily made, but good dinner none-the-less. We are working on more veggies and less processed foods.
I am creating…
Oh the list goes on and on! Today I worked on a custom flower girl dress, I did some alterations, made a ring-bearer pillow and shoes for my flower girl! The shoes were some work, and if I make them again they will have to be adjusted, but I was surprised how cute they turned out!
I am working on…
Sewing, walking, drinking more water. I’m getting there!
I am going…
To stay home and do a lot of sewing! It’s not as much as before, I am getting in my groove!
I am hoping…
For these allergies to go away! I am so tired of not being able to breath!
I am reading…
Still not reading anything other than patterns… Sad about that! One of these days I am going to read something!
I am praying…
For those lost loved ones, and for those that don’t understand how short life is. To tell someone to live life to the fullest is just silly… We simply do what we are going to do and learn as we go.
I am hearing…
Hearing Meatloaf crying on The Apprentice… Guess this is what happens when I do my daybook at the same time every week. I just don’t dig that show…
Around the house…
Calm. Laundry is done. Dishes are caught up, except for tonights dishes. Rooms are clean and beds are made. Baby is down to sleep. I’m thinking with all the nice energy I might have a bowl of ice cream!
One of my favorite things…
The feeling of accomplishment at the end of one week into the beginning of the next. It doesn’t happen very often, but when it does, it’s a nice balance.
A few plans for the rest of the week…
Going out to dinner with the in-laws, now that Father-in-law is feeling better. Lots more sewing. Same-old, same-old!
Random thought…
So, we found a cockroach in the kitchen today. Usually we get just one each year. I’ll take that over getting more on any other basis… But, while I was yelling at the Hubby to get the gross thing out of the house, I started thinking about people that “wouldn’t hurt a fly.” What if that fly kept flying in your face? Would you hurt it then? And what about other pests, say… Like cockroaches!?!? Well, I’ll tell you, I am not one of those people that “wouldn’t hurt a fly.” As a matter of fact, I kill flies. I will kill any pest or rodent that invades my space. You don’t see me running out into the wild stealing their food and huddling in their living space! And eye for an eye baby!!!
Here are picture thoughts I am sharing with you….

Love your blog – it just took me a minute to set up a google talk account so I could officially follow it. It is very Heidi and showcases how talented I always knew you were 🙂
Thanks! Yeah, I guess you can read the blog without a google account, but not post… But the google account can be your regular email, so it gets a bit weird… I also do a Stuff N Junk post…
